Well known Australian boat builder, Greg Brown, Aluminium and Steel Boats, Maclean, N.S.W., built a new Van de Stadt custom design 67 foot (20.40m) deck saloon cruiser for a Hong Kong company.

Design is a large, very high quality luxury deck saloon cruiser capable of filling a dual role; firstly as an office away from the office, aboard which corporate clients can be entertained, and secondly to be suitable for passage races and major offshore events, and be as fast as possible for a vessel of this type.

The designers CAD files were used for cutting aluminium components in Brisbane, printing drawings and patterns, and development of detailed joinery work by Mark Greystone on the Sunshine Coast, who has computer-steered routers and AutoCAD capabilities.

An extensive variety of other Australian sub-contractors and suppliers were involved, focusing on assembly of the vessel at ASB's yard in Maclean.

"JEWEL" as she has been christened, is now nearing completion and is stunning! A true testament to the skill of the Australian Craftsman that built her.
