1.    The "Syllogic" was especially designed for the Singlehanded Trans Atlantic Race in June 2000.  Unlike the Round the World Races the "Star" is an upwind race. The basis for the design is therefore an Open 40 with optimal close-hauled characteristics.

2.    Well known Australian boat builder, Greg Brown, Aluminium and Steel Boats, Maclean, N.S.W., built a Van de Stadt custom design 67 foot (20.40m) deck saloon cruiser for a Hong Kong company.

3.    The Van de Stadt 77 continues a tradition of handsome offshore cruising yachts by applying advanced technology and new thinking to improve performance . safety and comfort, including an optional fractionally rigged mast and bulbous keel that combine to assure stability, reduce motion, ease handling, enhance top-end speed and promote safety.

4.    Recently RT - Yachtbau, Germany / Slovenia, with whom Van de Stadt Design has developed an excellent relationship during more than 15 years of co-operation, commissioned us to design and build a 107 ft yacht, "Eos", for a German client.  The brief was to design a handsome-looking offshore cruising yacht that could be handled with a minimum number of crew, and with a high degree of independent operation of the various components so as to increase safety and comfort.
